EVENT OPERATIONS

Kirstin Lewis serves as the Vice President of Event Operations for Questex LLC. She is responsible for the overall operations, logistics and registration management for Questex’s US based tradeshows and conferences.  These responsibilities include managing the operational budgets for the events; selecting, negotiating and managing all show vendors for quality, price and delivery and managing all venue and hotel contracts.  Lewis has vast experience in working in large convention centers in top tier cities where event operation management has proven difficult.  She works closely with the sales teams to identify sponsorship opportunities and creates operational plans to implement these opportunities to increase event revenue.  She also manages the development and implementation of strategic operational goals and objectives to improve the profitability and efficiency of future events.

Lewis has more than 18 years of Event Operations and Event Management experience and joined Questex in 2002 as the Director of Operations.  Prior to joining Questex, Lewis served as the Director of Conference and Operations for the technology events at Advanstar Communications where she managed all event logistics as well as conference programing and development for the events in the portfolio.  Prior to Advanstar, Lewis held the positions of Conference Manager, Operations Manager and ultimately the Director of Events at the AIIM Association in Silver Spring, MD.  In this role she was strategic in implementing regional conference programs, while overseeing the large trade show which took place  annually at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in NYC.
